I installed the wax teapots and experimented with sounds I had recorded and was playing through headphone speakers inside the pots
the sound isn’t loud enough and after much testing I have now found some speakers that will fit inside the teapots if I cut away the bottom (will do at later date)
I have been unsure and changing my mind about what sound I would like.
initially I wanted a death related audio – akin to each teapot speaking – each teapot belonging to a dead person
this changed to thinking about consent but feel that death is more in keeping with my intentions when I started
Now I know how the set up will be I will play with collating some audio – I will have sound coming from about four of the teapots and have the installation in a slightly darkened room with seats around.
