Exploring this issue that underlies much of my work and I wondered about the instruction of how to deal with loss – funny how we subscribe to a set of instructions to ensure we are grieving adequately!

So – is it 5 or 7 stages?

Five = denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance

Seven = shock/disbelief, denial, pain, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance/hope

Complete the progression – don’t get stuck at any particular stage!!

Ideas – talking heads of ‘stages of grief‘ – like the instructions of how to deal with a nuclear bomb (my TV advert memory of hiding under tables with tinned fruit)

merge/layer them both to project the images
