Pipes with flooring

using bits of flooring I had used previously I cut shapes out of the vinyl  to ground and base the pipes

this gave strength and weight to the origin of the pipes used – by playing with the composition of these shapes and pipes they appeared to start a dialogue with each other – by tapping on the pipes sounds became distorted and I decided to create a boxed element underneath the flooring that could conceal sound

I wanted to see if I could get the sound to travel and distort.
