- What is my intention
- what do I want the viewer to experience – this is what I should use to guide the work
- Project onto/into houses/babies
- don’t worry about being cheesy!
- Project woods onto the dolls
- Collage – don’t all seem to sink with the other work I do – I understand this but I feel that the collage helps inform my thinking, as I’m collaging and drawing I am able to have headspace to think about my work – It also helps me to work out spaces and structure of imaginary spaces in my film work.
- Lucy suggested changing the collage up – wrap around, put on the floor, but up etc – look at Helen Chadwick who uses all mediums (object, print, collage)
- Printing – is working but perhaps use the print as part of the sculpture rather than as an identity in itself – could use as a finish to the boxes/houses
- Make up things roughly/try things out before trying to make finished work
- Each of my mediums is dictated by my environment
home – refers to domestic woods – escape/dreams
collage – thinking of spaces
