• I spent ages covering the object in wallpaper and was really pleased with the finish – I was happy with the finish – it appeared domestic because it was covered in wallpaper yet odd as it wasn’t a functional piece of furniture.
  • The piece is named ‘Shul’
  • I was surprised to find that I was placed in the downstairs gallery as I assumed I would be upstairs.  It was quite amusing to think I had wallpapered the piece so that it would fit in with the carpet upstairs! Having said that I was really happy with my place
  • I had a few problems with equipment and setting up the technical stuff (which is of no surprise) but had help from Will
  • I loved leaving the piece to speak for itself –  It was good practice to leave the work and allow it to be independent – I was really happy to be able to view it from outside the gallery on street level
  • my criticism would be that all artists should have had their name and title by their work – I feel that it was confusing and frustrating for visitors to navigate themselves through work.  I also feel by having the artist statements easily accessible would have assisted the viewer if they wanted to find out more
